Dear Friend and Colleague,
On behalf of the membership and the Board of Directors of the Chesapeake/Potomac Regional Chapter (CPRC) of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), I am asking for your support as a Corporate or Organizational Sponsor of CPRC.
CPRC is an organization that supports scientists an environmental practitioners representing government, industry, academia, and the private sector in Maryland, Virgina, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. CPRC’s mission is to promote the exchange of information among environmental scientists in the mid-Atlantic region. In particular, the organization facilitates and supports graduate student research and presentations at annual national SETAC meetings. In addition, the chapter sponsors two annual scientific meetings and one or more annual social events to encourage the exchange of information and professional networking. The chapter also hosts this website and produces biennial newsletters that serve as resources for the members and the local scientific community.
CPRC’s functioning and expansion depends upon Corporate and Organizational sponsorship. As such, we are rolling out two formal levels of Sponsorship for CPRC for 2010 and 2011—Sustaining and Associate. These categories, and the benefits that your company or organization will gain as a Corporate or Organizational Sponsor, are summarized below.
In addition to formal categories of sponsorship, we recognize and welcome sponsorships that may be focused on specific areas—for example, a specific student research or travel award, meeting sponsorship, etc.—or just smaller level contributions.
Your sponsorship is very important to the continued success of our CPRC.

In addition to supporting the services provided by CRPC, benefits of Corporate or Organizational Sponsorship include:
Acknowledgement
Sustaining and Associate Sponsors are acknowledged in each CPRC newsletter and on our website with a formal “thank you”, as well as the names and company/organizational logos listed by sponsorship level. Sponsors are also acknowledged at each CPRC meeting and event.
Advertising
Sustaining and Associate Sponsors may submit advertising for their organization (i.e., for services and products) for inclusion in our newsletter at no charge (one full page advertisement for Sustaining Sponsors and one half page advertisement for Associate Sponsors). Sustaining Sponsors may also utilize table space or other dedicated areas for display of corporate/organizational promotional literature at all CPRC meetings and events.
Job Postings
Sustaining and Associate Sponsors may submit job postings for inclusion in the CPRC Newsletters and on our website.
Meeting Registrations
Sustaining Sponsors will receive two free registrations for CPRC Meetings.
